Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin came together with the education counselors and education attaches working in the organization of the Ministry of National Education abroad at an online meeting.

 

Stating that the education counselors and attachés working in the organization of the Ministry abroad are the representatives who try to defend the honor and reputation of the Republic of Türkiye all over the world and make efforts for this regard, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin expressed that he look on them as the ones trying to develop the policies that the President Erdoğan is trying to implement both in the country and in the world. Minister Tekin asked each counselor and attaches to continue to produce projects that will improve relations Between Türkiye and foreign countries on education within the framework of the foreign policy that Türkiye is trying to construct.

 

Emphasizing that they will provide all kinds of support for every project developed to better represent Türkiye abroad, Minister Tekin said that he believes that more successful results will be achieved through the projects and the studies carried out in cooperation between the embassies, Turkish Maarif Foundation, Yunus Emre Institute and TIKA on Turkish language, Turkish culture as well as in line with the relations that Türkiye wishes to develop with foreign countries.

 

Minister Tekin emphasized that they attach great importance to the students who study abroad with a scholarship provided by the Ministry of National Education. Addressing the education counsellors and attaches Minister Tekin said that they are the brothers, sisters and parents of the students abroad who have been entrusted to them. Tekin also asked the counselors and attachés to maintain good relations with the teachers working abroad.

 

Education consultants and attaches gave information about the activities they carry out in the countries they work.

 

Deputy Minister Celile Eren Ökten, Director General of EU and Foreign Relations Tuba Korkmaz, Director General of the Personnel Bülent Çiftçi and Director General of Higher and Foreign Education Fethi Fahri Kaya were also present at the meeting.
